Produced by Kendall Haney. it was in the official selection of the 2013 Chicago International Children’s Film Festival and at the 2013 Animae Caribe Festival in Trinidad and Tobago.
The score features instruments inspired by the story’s location, such as kalimbas, ethnic drums, mallet percussion, and live wood flutes. The solo instruments are supported by warm strings and harp. Light-hearted and warm, the score develops with the main character and ends warmly as the lion cub finally reunites with his family.
