Jack Bauer Kiefer Sutherland nous refait le coup : il jouera à nouveau le rôle d’un membre du service secret dans le film The Sentinel. Non, ça n’a rien à voir avec la série sur M6, dans laquelle un homme à ses cinq sens sur-développés (si, si, je vous jure). Enfin bref.

Le scénario du film à l’air drôlement original (la 20th Century Fox a du bien se fouler) :

A disgraced special agent to the White House (Douglas) endeavors to foil a conspiracy to assassinate the U.S. President.

Special Agent Pete Garrison (Douglas) is convinced that a Neo-Nazi Aryan Disciple has managed to infiltrate the White House. When a White House Agent is murdered, Garrison is framed and blackmailed over an affair with the First Lady Sarah Ballentine. He is relieved of his duties, but Garrison won’t stop in trying to prove his innocence, and save the life of the President. While attempting to uncover the person behind it all, he comes into confrontation with his protege, Agent Breckinridge (Sutherland).

Après avoir lu ça et regardé la bande-annonce, on est en droit d’avoir des doutes sur la qualité du film. Dommage, moi je l’aime bien Jack Bauer Kiefer Sutherland.
